J Care Home - Grimsby

Yarborough House is a Residential Care Home, which is registered for 27 residents (over the age of 65 years) receiving 24 -hour care. We have 19 bedrooms, all furnished to a high standard to ensure your comfort and safety. There are 8 double bedrooms and 11 single bedrooms which all have hand-wash basins. All the rooms have adequate electrical sockets. There are bathrooms and toilets on both floors. We have three beautiful lounges, where residents and family can relax looking out onto the gardens. There are also TV / video / radio / music centre facilities located in sections of the home. The large dining area also forms our entertainment lounge where lives entertainers come in for evenings of fun! Through the dining area is our conservatory/quiet room. With beautiful views into our sensory garden, a true place to relax. Leading out to a spacious, secure outside area which has been specifically designed to allow the residents to go out and enjoy the fresh air, the sensory garden and be able to sit outside, weather permitting whilst being in a safe environment.

The gardens are for your enjoyment and residents have unrestricted access to these facilities, subject to health and safety constraints that may be necessary from time to time. Each bedroom within the home has its own character, enabling residents to feel completely at home. There are phones situated throughout the home, both on the ground and first floors. A portable hands free set is available in some areas of the home (where we are able to get a signal). If you prefer you can have a private telephone line installed in your room at your own expense. A member of staff will deliver private mail to you.
